The difference between 2.4G and 5G frequency bands

   2.4G and 5G are different protocols used by wireless networks. 2.4G refers to 2412MHZ-2472MHZ in the country, which can be divided into 13 full channels, while 11 channels are regulated in the United States. 5G is 5725MHZ~5825MHZ in this country, 4 channels.

   2.4G and 5G comparison:

   2.4G advantages: long transmission distance, strong anti-attenuation ability, and good wall penetration ability. The disadvantage is: the free frequency band in the industrial, scientific, and medical fields. Many devices in life are in this frequency band, such as Bluetooth, microwave ovens, and remote controls, which leads to congestion of the 2.4G channel.

   The advantages of 5G: Provides a larger bandwidth, can enhance the throughput of data, the 5G frequency band suffers less interference, and the transmission speed is faster. The disadvantages are: poor penetration and short coverage distance. Now most smart devices still support 2.4G and do not support 5G.
