Soil moisture sensor is a new generation sensor with world advanced level independently developed by our company based on conductance theory and using frequency domain measurement technology. It can measure the specific water content of porous media such as soil (or other media), and convert it into a standard current signal output, which can be used for system integration and real-time monitoring of soil/medium water content. At present, this product is widely used in agricultural irrigation, landslide monitoring, pollution-free garbage disposal, agricultural soil research, moisture measurement of concrete, building materials, paper, and textile materials.

1. Function and characteristics of soil moisture sensor:

2. Precautions and maintenance of soil moisture sensor

1. Do not try to insert the probe into stones or hard clods to avoid damage to the probe.

2. When moving the sensor out of the soil, do not pull the cable directly.

3. The sensor probe should be fully inserted into the soil/substrate to reduce operating errors.

4. Pay attention to minimize the disturbance to the soil itself and improve the measurement accuracy.

5. After use, wash and dry it.
